SomnoRoute is designed around a simple overnight route: prepare the phone, start the recording, keep the microphone unobstructed, and review the morning evidence.
SomnoRoute report PDFs are calculated by the server workflow. A night PDF can include snoring burden, timing, intensity, evidence, and next-step interpretation.
When permission is granted, Apple Health context can help users compare snoring evidence with sleep and wellness signals available on iPhone.
When permission is granted, Android Health Connect context can support a joined-up sleep and snoring review for Android users.
When permission is granted, Oura Ring context can add sleep, readiness, heart-rate, HRV, respiratory, temperature, SpO2 and activity context where available.
Health context is optional. Users choose whether Oura Ring, Apple Health or Android Health Connect is connected, and SomnoRoute should still be understood as an awareness and reporting tool rather than a diagnosis tool.
For support or deletion requests, contact SomnoRoute directly by email with the device type, app version, and the request type. Do not send medical details in the first message.
Troubleshooting
Check the phone position, leave the microphone unobstructed, and avoid very soft surfaces or covered charging setups that may reduce the useful recording.
Night-to-night variation matters. Compare several nights before drawing conclusions, and treat oxygen, pulse, activity, or recovery changes as context rather than proof of cause.
Confirm the Oura, Apple Health or Android Health Connect permission is still enabled, then retry the route. Connected data is optional and may not be present for every night or every metric.
SomnoRoute does not diagnose sleep apnoea. If snoring is persistent, worrying, or linked with breathing pauses, gasping, daytime sleepiness, or morning headaches, discuss it with a qualified healthcare professional.
Important safety note
SomnoRoute helps users understand snoring patterns and sleep context. It does not replace emergency care or advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
